- Car: Less than 2.5 hrs. We expect most members will travel by car. There are safe parking lots at both hotels. We will do our best to help drivers find riders and riders find drivers.
- Bus: 2.5 hrs. (Buy your ticket on busbud.com). We recommend a “GL” bus—a step up from standard with better seating and individual screens and earbuds for movies. Currently, there is a bus from the Mérida Centro Histórico terminal at 3:05 – 5:30 PM; the price is $488 MXN. Note: While DiDi/Uber do operate in Campeche, it’s best to take a cab from the taxi station inside the bus terminal to your hotel. Two GL buses currently leave Campeche for Mérida on Saturday at 10:45 AM and 3:00 PM.
- Tren Maya: Less than 2.5 hrs. Unless you are a Mexican citizen, the train currently costs $573.50 MXN, and they are sometimes full. To save time, you can park or be dropped off at the Teya station (just outside the Periférico). In Campeche, there is a “little train” to take you to Centro. Current trains run to Campeche at 10:55 AM – 1:13 PM or 12:19 PM – 2:42 PM. Return trips are currently at 12:09 PM and 1:34 PM.
